(ANS – Shillong) – From March 20 to 22, 2026, Don Bosco College, Byndihati, hosted its Annual Spiritual Retreat, bringing together 280 young people from the college and neighboring villages under the theme, “Set your minds on things above” (Col 3:2). Animated by Mr. Naveen Lobo from Mysore and the Jesus Youth team of Shillong, the three-day retreat offered moments of prayer, catechesis, Eucharistic celebration, and adoration. The opening Mass was presided over by Fr. George S. Lyngkhoi. A highlight of the second day was the Sacrament of Reconciliation and the Eucharist celebrated by Bishop Ferdinand Dkhar of Jowai, who encouraged the youth to become “agents of hope.” The retreat concluded with the final Mass celebrated by the Principal, Fr. Daniel Cajee, followed by a moving time of adoration, leaving participants spiritually renewed and strengthened in faith.
