(ANS) – The Planning and Development Office (PDO) of the Salesian Province of Africa Ethiopia-Eritrea (AET) organised an online meeting on 27 March 2026 for the Directors of Youth Centres. In addition to the Directors, the event was attended by the Superior of the AET Province, Fr Ignacio, the Executive Director of the PDO, Fr Estifanos, the Delegate for Youth Ministry, Fr Petros, and several lay members of the PDO. Following the opening prayer led by the AET Superior, Fr Ignacio, the Executive Director of the PDO outlined the purpose of the meeting. Ato Surafel presented the new document, a questionnaire designed for the Salesian Youth Centres of Don Bosco in Ethiopia. Its aim is to gather structured information on the functioning of the youth centres, their target groups, and the challenges and needs they face, with a view to improving the programmes. Following the presentation, the directors of the youth centres exchanged ideas on the document and discussed the real challenges and urgent needs that young people face today. The meeting concluded with a shared commitment and the hope that the project will be successful.
