(ANS – São Paulo) – On 28 and 29 March 2026, the second meeting of the “Gospel & Life” programme took place at the Salesian Youth Spirituality Centre (CEJUS) in Campos Elíseos, São Paulo – SP. Under the coordination of Fr Cássio Rodrigo de Oliveira and Fr Jean de Castro Domingos, eleven participants from the cities of Cruzeiro, São Paulo, São Vicente, Americana, Campinas and Sorocaba spent two days enriched by Salesian spirituality. With the opening Mass presided over by the BSP Provincial, Fr Alexandre Luís de Oliveira, the young people were drawn into the dynamics of the gathering whose central theme was taken from the book of the prophet Jeremiah: “You have seduced me, Lord, and I have let myself be seduced” (Jer 20:7). The moments of spirituality offered during this second phase included Masses, prayerful reading of the Word of God, an intensive spiritual journal, the Third Hour, and an examination of conscience. To experience the Salesian mission more authentically, the young people took part in the activities of the Festive Oratory and visited the Museum of the Salesian Work in Brazil (MOSB) and the Grande Otelo Theatre. Furthermore, the young people came into contact with various Salesians and, in particular, with the vocational testimony of Fr André Luiz Simões, Provincial Economer of BSP.
