(ANS – Tuluá) – In an atmosphere of discernment, communion and deep harmony with the Salesian mission, the Salesian Province of St Louis Bertrand in Medellín  Colombia (COM) has taken a significant step towards the future with the approval of its Overall Provincial Plan (OPP) 2026–2032. In communion with the guidelines of the Salesian Congregation and in harmony with the path charted by GC29, this document establishes itself as a guide to animate and direct the life and mission of the province in the coming years, serving as a tool for animation and governance that directs the Salesian mission based on three fundamental strategic approaches: the centrality of Jesus Christ and care for the Salesian vocation; the revitalisation of fraternal life with a preferential option for the poorest young people; and the strengthening of high-quality pastoral processes in a synodal and co-responsible manner, in fidelity to the charism of Don Bosco and the priorities of GC29 (cf. GC29, no. 1). The approval took place on 7 April in the city of Tuluá, during the meeting between the Provincial, Fr José Ariel Guerrero Castro, and his Provincial Council. The process of drafting the OPP was guided by Fr Hernán Carmona, whose service enabled the contributions to be organised and a proposal to be consolidated that reflects the sentiments and priorities of the Province.
