(ANS – Gastre) – The Don Adriano Lucchiari missionary group, comprising eight members of the Parish of Our Lady of Peace in Trelew and led by Fr Honorio Caucamán, carried out a mission during Holy Week in Gastre. The initiative aims to offer a new experience to young people eager to share their joy and the Salesian charism. The group of missionaries travelled to the area during Holy Week to meet the local people, seeking to share the joy that the late Fr Adriano Lucchiari had brought with him from Italy and which he passed on to the people of the Central Patagonian plateau. His greeting, “Only God knows how much I love you”, has been adopted as the motto of the missionary group. The group was accompanied by Fr Antonio Integlia, from the Trelew community, who serves in Gan Gan with Fr David García; Salesian Brother Agustín Camiletti, Provincial Delegate for Youth Ministry, who was visiting the Salesian houses in the region at the time; and the young volunteers Ezequiel, from Bahía Blanca, and Cristian, from Don Bosco Villa Itatí. “Today it is up to us to continue spreading this message, but with the peace of mind that comes from knowing we are not alone. We walk alongside a community that accompanies us and offers us its love,” said some of the missionaries.
