(ANS) – The Salesian Province of Malta (MLT) annual retreat  held every year a week after Easter Sunday, remains one of the most cherished events in the community’s calendar. This year, the retreat took place at the St Joseph Retreat House, a place whose peaceful atmosphere and natural surroundings offer the ideal setting for prayer and spiritual renewal. The retreat was led and preached by Fr Andrea Bozzolo, Rector of the Pontifical Salesian University in Rome, whose reflections guided the participants towards a deeper encounter with the Risen Christ. Held immediately after the joy of Easter, the retreat offered a special time to reflect on the mystery of the Resurrection. It was not simply a series of talks, but a journey, a path, which invited each participant – 38 in total – to step away from the demands of daily ministry and rediscover the gentle voice of God. Through moments of silence, Eucharistic adoration, shared liturgies and personal meditation, the days unfolded at a pace that gently led the heart towards renewal.
