(ANS – Vielsalm) – The Salesian Cooperators (ASC) Belgium South recently celebrated the 150th anniversary of their association at Dominio de Farnières, the Don Bosco centre in Farnières. The spiritual renewal event was attended by 38 ASCs from the various local centres of Ampsin, Farnières, Ganshoren, Hornu and Louvain-la-Neuve, accompanied by members of other groups of the Salesian Family in Belgium, and ASCs from France. Also present were people, particularly from Tournai and Brussels, keen to learn about the Association. The theme of the weekend was joy. A simple yet profound joy, expressed through countless small gestures, bringing together emotions, memories and reflections on the occasion of this jubilee. The solemn Sunday Eucharist presided over by Fr Guy Dermond, ASC Provincial Delegate, brought together around fifty ASCs.
