(ANS – Sainte-Sigolène) – The Sacré-Cœur Don Bosco school in Sainte-Sigolène, in the Haute-Loire, organised an event entitled “EVARS”, the French acronym for “Education for emotional, relational and sexual life”. The first edition of this initiative, which was a great success and was well received by families, was attended by numerous students, who were invited to reflect on issues important for their personal growth and their place in society. The sessions were tailored to different age groups and led by professionals carefully selected for their expertise and impartiality. Throughout the week, distinguished speakers such as Abdelkader Raidane and Cindy Faure spoke respectively on discrimination and on the themes of respect for the body and consent in relationships. Thanks to contributions from nutritionists and dieticians, discussions also took place on health and balanced nutrition. “EVARS” thus enabled students to reflect on, share and better understand topics essential to their daily lives and personal development.
