(ANS – Bellflower) – The Salesian Cooperators of the Church of St Dominic Savio in Bellflower, California, undertook a missionary trip to Ensenada, Mexico, to visit Casa Gabriel, a home for orphans with disabilities. The Salesian Cooperators provided food and gave new shoes and clothes to each child. The Casa Gabriel center is supported exclusively through donations, so receiving this much-needed aid was particularly important. The Salesian Cooperators expressed their joy at having contributed to the well-being of this community. “It was very rewarding to bring aid to the community, especially to the young people,” they commented at the end of their missionary trip. “We hope to return soon and spend more time with these beautiful children and their wonderful carers.”
