(ANS – Castelnuovo Don Bosco) – On 10 April 2026, a day of formation on  “Roots and fruits of a life with the Lord” was held at Colle Don Bosco Novitiate, aimed at Salesians aged 75 and over. Around twenty Salesians aged 75 and over took part in the meeting, and were welcomed by twenty Salesian novices of six different nationalities. It was a most pleasant time of sharing and exchange: memories, experiences and pearls of wisdom on the one hand, and requests for advice, suggestions, encouragement and hopes on the other. This was followed by a brief but interesting presentation of the monthly formation programme by the Novice Director Fr Enrico Ponte, centred on the figure of the Venerable Alberto Marvelli and on holiness, with reference to Dominic Savio and many other young people. This was followed by the Eucharistic celebration in the renovated, bright chapel, amidst songs, music and prayers, presided over by Fr Michele Molinar, ICP Vice-Provincial. The day concluded with a fraternal agape meal.
