(ANS – Comayagüela) – With the aim of promoting safe environments and improving the quality of pastoral care, a Salesian formation day was held on 19 April 2026 at CDAJ Las Ayestas. The central theme of the meeting was the understanding and in-depth study of the Code of Ethics, as well as the promotion of good practices in working with children, adolescents and young people. During the day, the responsibility involved in pastoral guidance was emphasised, along with the need to apply protocols that guarantee the respect and integrity of minors. Participants reflected on their role as role models of values, in keeping with the Salesian charism of forming “good Christians and upright citizens”. The initiative was made possible thanks to the support of ACN International, whose collaboration reaffirms the shared commitment to the global protection of children and young people.
