(ANS – Rome) – The Board of Directors (BoD) of the CNOS-FAP ETS Foundation met on 17 and 18 April 2026. Two days of intensive discussions which focused on the most significant challenges for the future. On the agenda were the issues reshaping the vocational education and training (VET) system: the reform of Technical and Technological Institutes, the 4+2 training pathway and its implementing decrees, and regional planning. The discussion also involved voices from the field – regional delegates and network representatives – because the decisions that matter arise from listening to those who work in training centres every day. It was not just about system policy: the Board of Directors also addressed planning issues – internationalisation, research, and relations with businesses – and the social report, financial statements, and the update to the 2026 Plan were presented. The meeting reaffirmed the approach of the CNOS-FAP ETS Foundation: looking at the present with responsibility and at the future with a clear direction.
