(ANS – Montréal) – Following the tradition of gathering in the weeks after Easter, the Salesian Family in Montréal and Sherbrooke (Salesians, FMA, ADMA, Salesian Cooperators and Past Pupils) met at the Don Bosco Youth Leadership Center in Montréal to spend a Spirituality Day together. The annual event focuses on the Rector Major’s Strenna, presented this year by four different speakers – Fr Richard Authier, Fr George Harkins, Sr Lise Gitard and Salesian Cooperator Jean Brodeur – who spoke about the four-stage process outlined by Fr Fabio Attard in the 2026 Strenna. One of the highlights of the day was the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the foundation of the Salesian Cooperators, an opportunity to explore the relevance today of Don Bosco’s prophetic vision, which calls for living a faith that evangelises and civilises in daily life. The entire day was moderated by Sister Alphonsine Roy, FMA, Provincial Delegate for the Salesian Cooperators (who subsequently passed away on 23 April 2026 – Ed.).
