Venezuela – Venezuelan educators from Greater Caracas take part in the second level of the School of Salesianity
(ANS – Los Teques) – From 24 to 26 April 2026, an “Educating in the style of Don Bosco and Mother Mazzarello” meeting was held in Los Teques. This event forms an integral part of the second level of the Salesian Formation School programme and reaffirms the institutions’ commitment to the pedagogy of love and presence. The event attracted a large and diverse audience, bringing together representatives from the schools of the Salesians of Don Bosco (SDB) and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA). Parishes, oratories and representatives of the Don Bosco Houses Network also took part. The event was led by Sister Alicia Boscán (FMA) and Salesians Alfredo Olivero and Jorge Bastidas. Through their presentations, participants explored the foundations of the founders’ educational pedagogy, centred on reason, religion and charity. The meeting not only provided academic and pastoral updates for educators but also strengthened bonds of fraternity among the various works active in the capital and its surroundings, ensuring that the legacy of Don Bosco and Mother Mazzarello continues to transform lives in today’s context.
