(ANS – São Paulo) – On 27 April 2026, the First Generational Meeting was held at the Pius XI Theological Institute in Alto da Lapa – SP. Coordinated by the Delegate for Formation of the Salesian Province of São Paulo Brazil (BSP), Fr Cássio Rodrigo de Oliveira, the event brought together Salesians who had been ordained priests or had made their perpetual vows between 6 and 15 years ago to reflect on the theme “Culture of Care: Integration of Health, Psychology and Charism”. The formation event included three key sessions: Fr João Gabriel Galhotti Pinto spoke on “Pastoral Charity”; psychologist Rosana Miranda addressed “the identification of fundamental human needs”; and psychiatrist Dr Thales Pereira discussed the topic of “Early diagnosis and intervention in mental health”. At the end of the day, the Salesians were able to take part in a discussion with the BSP Provincial, Fr Alexandre Luís de Oliveira, who also presided over the closing Mass.
