(ANS – Brasilia) – From 28 to 29 April 2026, the Enlarged Assembly of the Brazilian Union of Catholic Education took place in Brasilia, bringing together representatives from various Catholic educational institutions across the country. The Assembly is a space for communion, listening and discernment, where educators and leaders come together to reflect on the challenges and opportunities of the educational mission in the current context. In keeping with the values of the Gospel, the meeting reaffirms the commitment to quality education, focused on the integral formation of students and the promotion of human dignity. The UBEC Group comprises five religious congregations and one diocese. Among these are the Salesians of the St John Bosco Province of Belo Horizonte Brazil (BBH) and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, who, through their charisms, contribute to the educational and evangelising mission in various parts of the country.
