(ANS – Castelnuovo Don Bosco) – Friday 1 May 2026 marked the conclusion of the Don Bosco Tour, a 1,026 km cycling route undertaken by sixty young people and adults from Salesian houses in Belgium to the sites associated with Don Bosco in Italy. Having set off on 20 April 2026 from the Don Bosco Centre in Farnières, Belgium, the cycling group undertook a two-week journey, divided into ten stages of around 100 kilometres each, crossing six countries: Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Switzerland and Italy. Among the adults was Fr Luc Herpoel, SDB, who wrote a “word of the day”, a tradition dear to Don Bosco, for each day of the journey.
