(ANS – Cochabamba) – On 24 April 2026, the Provincial Headquarters of the Salesians in Bolivia, in Cochabamba, hosted the second meeting of Salesian Rectors of the country’s Vocational Training Centres (VETs). The day began with a meaningful moment of prayer and reflection, led by Fr Darwin Jiménez, Provincial Delegate for Youth Ministry. Subsequently, those present reflected on the conclusions and objectives proposed at the First Educational Congress of the VTCs in 2025, focusing on the themes of formation, educational policy, quality management and the sustainability plan. As part of the programme, the Rectors also visited the company “ECO GRUPO”, a holding company specialising in the collection and recycling of plastic waste, transforming it into high-quality products, thereby contributing to environmental protection and sustainable development. The entire meeting took place in an atmosphere of camaraderie, commitment and optimism, proving to be an extremely productive day for the Rectors and for the strengthening of Bolivia’s Vocational Training Centres.
