(ANS – Dili) – The Salesian community in Dili joyfully celebrated the feast of St Dominic Savio on Wednesday 6 May, marking the occasion with a lively gathering characterised by faith and youthful enthusiasm. The celebration began with the Eucharist, presided over by Fr Rui Gomes and concelebrated by several priests from the local postnovitiate community. The event was attended by members of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM), young devotees of St Dominic Savio, various representatives of the Salesian Family and the postnovices. At the end of Mass, Fr Casimiro Morais expressed his gratitude to everyone for their presence and active participation. The celebration concluded with a convivial dinner, which fostered fraternity, joy and the true Salesian spirit amongst the young people.
