(ANS – Americana) – On 6 May 2026, the UNISAL Leadership, at the Maria Auxiliadora Campus in Americana in the state of São Paulo, received an Extraordinary Visitation from the Councillor for America South Cone, Fr Héctor Gabriel Romero. The meeting brought together the heads of the Americana, Campinas and Lorena campuses for a dialogue focused on sharing, co-responsibility and the strengthening of Salesian identity. During the meeting, the Rector of UNISAL, Prof. Dr Duílio Fabbri Júnior, presented an overview of the challenges faced by the institution since 2024, as well as the actions undertaken and the results achieved thanks to a collegial management style based on actively listening to the teams. At the end of the meeting, Fr Gabriel Romero highlighted the dedication of the leaders present and acknowledged the contribution of lay people to the projects developed by the institution. “This is the way forward, a realistic path with our feet firmly on the ground, yet filled with great hope,” he stated, reiterating the importance of sharing experiences and exchanging best practices among Salesian institutions in Brazil and abroad.
