Venezuela – The Salesian Family in Venezuela celebrates the 150th anniversary of the Salesian Cooperators with a programme rich in spirituality and fraternity
(ANS – Caracas) – The Salesian Family in Venezuela has celebrated the 150th anniversary of the Salesian Cooperators, founded by St John Bosco to extend his educational and evangelising mission amongst young people. As part of the national celebration, the Salesian Family of Greater Caracas gathered at the Church of Mary Help of Christians in Boleíta. The day featured two key moments that strengthened the spirit of identity and mission: a profound reflection led by the Provincial of the Salesians of Venezuela (VEN), Fr Rafael Montenegro, during which he invited those present to renew their lay vocation in the light of the Resurrection; the solemn Eucharist presided over by Fr Montenegro, during which thanks were given for the journey undertaken so far and prayers were offered for the future of the Salesian Cooperators in the country.
