(Ramsey, N.J. – May 9, 2026) – The Association of Salesian Cooperators’ Eastern U.S. Province celebrated the ASC’s 150th anniversary with a province-wide festival on May 9 at Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, New Jersey. One part took place both in person and by Zoom, and a second part was held in the various local centers. 40+ people assembled in person at Ramsey, including Cooperators, Salesians, and young people. Others participated online.

The shared in-person/online portion included the ASC’s sesquicentennial prayer, a bilingual Rosary, a witness talk by Cooperator Joanne Fusaro, a few words from Fr. Dominic Tran, SDB provincial, the renewal of the Cooperator promise, and a midday “good night” from Cooperator Bernie Pontillo.

Ms. Fusaro spoke about prayer in her own life, particularly in relation to a serious surgery she had in November, on her surrender to God and the peace that brought her, on the blessing that our vocation is.

With the digital portion of the program concluded, each center was free to continue the celebration locally. In Ramsey, that included Mass, a simple lunch, and the enjoyment of one another’s company.
