(ANS – Gatchina) – A course for youth leaders was held in Gatchina from March to May 2026. As is traditional, the course was divided into three monthly sessions. The third meeting took place at the country house of the Society of the Divine Word and lasted two days. Thirty-one people took part in the course: Fr Andrej Porubchin SDB, 21 current animators and 9 new ones who have not yet held this role but wish to take it on this year. It is worth noting that all of them took part in the oratory’s activities as children and now wish to continue as animators. During the course, the animators reflected on “The Preventive System in the Education of Youth”, taken from the “Regulations for the Houses of the Society of St Francis de Sales”, and on the Rector Major’s Strenna for 2026. In addition, various topics were explored in depth, and numerous activities were organised to strengthen team spirit among the youth leaders: games, quizzes, debates, cookery workshops and more.
