(ANS – Cebu) – From 7 to 10 May 2026, Don Bosco Technical College in Cebu, under the auspices of the Department of Pastoral Animation, organised a leadership camp entitled: “Send, Think, Imagine, Plan, Serve” . On the first day of the camp, the participants were welcomed and the first two training sessions began, focusing on self-understanding as leaders and on conducting a SWOT analysis, facilitated by Ms Florainda Yso. The day concluded with Eucharistic adoration, journal writing and a goodnight talk by Fr Antonio B. Velarde, SDB. The second day of the camp began with a talk on being a leader in society, given by Mr Daryl Torreon, an active member of the Salesian Youth Movement of the FIS Province (SYM-FIS), focusing on becoming a responsible leader in the community. The second talk was given by Fr Antonio B. Velarde, SDB, on servant leadership, emphasising leadership grounded in the values of Don Bosco. This was followed by the start of the Amazing Race, comprising five stages centred on Salesian youth spirituality. The third day of the camp focused mainly on project planning, led by Mr Eduardo Empelis Jr, an active member of the SYM-FIS. On the final day of the camp, Mr Daryl Torreon gave a concluding talk on commitment to the mission of service to young people.
