(ANS – Stična) – The mission and pastoral work of the Salesians of Don Bosco are also highly valued by other religious communities in Slovenia. During the assembly of members of the Conference of Religious Institutions of Slovenia (KORUS), held on 11 May 2026 at the Cistercian monastery in Stična, the new President of KORUS was elected: Fr Peter Končan, SDB, Superior of the Salesian Province of Saints Cyril and Methodius in Slovenia (SLO). He succeeds the current president, Fr Miran Žvanut, SJ, who is concluding his service as Superior of the Jesuits in Slovenia.
