(ANS – Dili) – To mark the centenary of the Salesian Congregation of Don Bosco’s presence in Timor-Leste, to be celebrated in 2027, the Salesian Family of the TLS Vice-Province has promoted various initiatives of a spiritual, human, social and cultural nature. The postnovitiate community, joining this initiative, has developed numerous activities aimed at the beneficiaries of its mission, namely children and young people. On 17 May 2026, following Sunday Mass, the Salesians of the community, through the pastoral group and in collaboration with the young animators, organised a drawing competition for children aged 6 to 11, which attracted around 500 participants at the Don Bosco Secondary School in Comoro, Dili.
