(ANS – Łódź) – On 23 May 2026, in the church dedicated to Mary Help of Christians, which this year celebrates the 100th anniversary of its consecration, a solemn ordination ceremony was held for six Salesian deacons from the Warsaw Province, Poland (PLE). The celebration was presided over by Archbishop Marek Solczyński, Apostolic Nuncio to Turkey, Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, who in his address emphasised the special role of the choice and the call to love and service of the new Salesian priests. Among the newly ordained priests are also two Salesians from Zambia and Malawi who have been undertaking their formation in the PLE province for over six years.
