(ANS – Cuenca) – As part of the celebrations for the 90th anniversary of the Salesian Technical School in Cuenca, the “Don Bosco Lives” musical project  brought together over 150 Past Pupils for a day dedicated to identity, gratitude and the Salesian spirit, to pay tribute to the history of Salesian technical formation in the city. The gathering took place on the school’s sports field, where the Past Pupils came together to celebrate the legacy of St John Bosco. Through music, the participants expressed their affection and sense of belonging to the Salesian work that shaped their personal and academic growth. During the event, they performed “Don Bosco Espera”, a famous Salesian youth song made popular by musicals and songbooks throughout Spain and Latin America. The song evokes Don Bosco’s educational legacy and his commitment to young people, particularly the most vulnerable, promoting values such as hope, joy and love. The day continued with a performance of the Salesian Technical School anthem. During the recording, Fr Ángel Lazo, rector of the Salesian community in Yanuncay, thanked the Past Pupils for their participation and highlighted the enduring bond they maintain with the institute.
