(ANS – Aracaju) – The Salesian Institute in Aracaju celebrated the Feast of Mary Help of Christians, presided over by the Director of the Festive Oratory, Fr Antônio Neto, and concelebrated by Fr Jonathan Loureiro, with the participation of Salesian priest Fr Thomás Feitoza. The celebration, held at the Ginásio Dom Bosco, brought together students, Past Pupils, families and teachers. During his homily, Fr Neto recalled how important Our Lady Help of Christians is for the entire Salesian Congregation and highlighted how devotion to Mary Help of Christians is one of Don Bosco’s principal spiritual legacies. At the end of the Eucharist, those present were treated to a performance by Past Pupil Renata Pessoa, who sang the Ave Maria in Latin. The secondary school students, meanwhile, performed the choreography for the traditional coronation of Our Lady, under the guidance of teacher Ana Isabel de Oliveira.
