(ANS – Ho Chi Minh City) – On the morning of 28 May 2026, at the “Don Bosco Xuan Hiep” parish, the Salesian Province of Vietnam (VIE) solemnly celebrated the Mass of priestly ordination for four deacons: Fr Paul Nguyễn Trung Sáng, Fr Martin Phạm Duy Long, Fr Michael Nguyễn Hoàng Tuấn and Fr Vincent Nguyễn Văn Thụ. The Mass was marked by a profound sense of grace, highlighting the commitment to serve poor young people in the footsteps of the Good Shepherd. The Mass was presided over by Bishop Joseph Trân Văn Toàn of Long Xuyên, in the presence of the VIE Provincial, Fr Barnabas Le An Phong, and numerous priests, religious, benefactors and family members of the newly ordained. The whole day was marked by a solemn atmosphere filled with gratitude. Fr Le An Phong recalled that “this grace is not merely a private joy for the Salesians, but a joy for the universal Church, for God continues to call and send young shepherds.”
