(ANS – Addis Ababa) – The Don Bosco Catholic Technical and Vocational Training Institute at ‘Bosco Children’ in Addis Ababa continues its activities by welcoming around 400 candidates for its 30th formation cycle. The institute is committed to creating and preparing a better future for young people through effective technical and vocational formation. The Don Bosco TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) Centre is well-equipped and in high demand due to the effectiveness and quality of its formation, and continues to empower young people by equipping them with practical skills for life and work. Currently, the institute offers formation courses in Furniture Making, Metalwork, Leatherwork, Basic IT and Hairdressing/Barbering. Furthermore, it is taking steps to obtain the necessary licence to expand its programmes in the near future, including Infant Care, Urban Agriculture, Beekeeping, Poultry Farming, Livestock Farming and Agro-processing, such as the production of dairy products, including butter and cheese.
