(ANS – Tokyo) – The Salesian Youth Movement in Japan organised its tenth night-hike pilgrimage, bringing together around thirty young people from Saturday 30 to Sunday 31 May. The participants gathered at the Catholic church in Shimo-Igusa, where they prepared for the pilgrimage with social activities and a deeper reflection on the 2026 Strenna. Along the way, they stopped at SEIBI Home, the orphanage run by the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, where they received a truly warm welcome. Before setting off again, the young people gathered in the chapel to celebrate Eucharistic Adoration. They then resumed their hike, concluding this pilgrimage at the Catholic Church in Adachi, where they also attended Mass. “We are grateful for the kindness of so many people, for having been able to walk together with one heart, and for God’s grace. We would also like to thank everyone who helped organise this event and all those who prayed for our journey,” the participants concluded.
