(ANS – São Paulo) – On 30 and 31 May, the Centre for Salesian Spirituality (CEJUS), located in the Campos Elíseos district of São Paulo (SP), hosted another edition of the “Gospel & Life” Vocational Meeting, an initiative promoted by the Provincial Vocational Animation Service to accompany and assist young people interested in the Salesian vocation in their discernment. The activities began on Saturday morning with the celebration of Holy Mass in the chapel of the Provincial House. Subsequently, the participants reflected on the theme “Mary in the Salesian Society”, in a session led by the head of the Provincial Vocational Animation Service, Fr Cássio Rodrigo de Oliveira, and  Salesian Brother Jean de Castro Domingos. During the meeting, those present also took part in the traditional Festive Oratory at the Heart of Jesus High School and visited the provincial house of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians in the Bom Retiro district, where they were able to attend a talk given by the Novice Mistress, Sister Solange Sanches. Back at CEJUS, the programme continued with the recitation of the Rosary, moments of sharing, as well as the traditional goodnight offered by the visitor, Fr Héctor Gabriel Romero, Councillor for America South Cone. The programme also included a vocational testimony by Luciano Oliveira, CDB, who shared his journey of faith, service and discernment. The event concluded with some general guidelines and an evaluation, thus bringing to a close another weekend marked by fraternity, sharing and vocational reflection.
