India – An engaging seminar strengthens Don Bosco’s Preventive System for a new generation of educators
(ANS – Trasi) – As part of the global celebrations for the 150th anniversary of Don Bosco’s Preventive Educational System, a one-day seminar for teachers was held at the Don Bosco CBSE School in Trasi, bringing together educators from two Salesian institutions to reflect on and strengthen their commitment to Don Bosco’s educational mission. The programme was organised jointly for staff from the Don Bosco CBSE School in Trasi and the Don Bosco School in Mulladka. A total of 48 teachers attended the seminar, with the aim of deepening their understanding of Don Bosco’s educational philosophy and exploring its relevance in today’s classrooms. Through practical examples, discussions, reflections and group activities, and with the participation of prominent Salesian figures, the importance of fostering a positive and stimulating school environment was emphasised – one in which young people feel valued, supported and motivated to grow. The teachers participated with joy and enthusiasm, and the seminar fostered collaboration and a spirit of communion among the educators of the two institutions, strengthening their shared commitment to the Salesian mission.
