(ANS – Medellín) – The Salesian Bulletin in Colombia has reached its 300th issue, a significant milestone that has reaffirmed the relevance of a work born from Don Bosco’s communicative spirit. This commemorative edition, entitled “Issue 300: A story across generations”, was dedicated to generational renewal, highlighting how memory, the present and the future continue to pass on, from generation to generation, the founder’s educational and evangelising legacy. The publication was accompanied by significant changes that have responded to the current challenges facing society and the Salesian mission. Among these, the transition to a 100% recyclable format stood out, a decision that reflected a commitment to caring for our Common Home and a concrete ecological awareness. On the occasion of this anniversary, the Rector Major, Fr Fabio Attard, shared a special message in which he acknowledged the importance of this medium of communication as a tool for evangelisation and encounter. The Editor of the Colombian Salesian Bulletin, Fr Simón Martínez, also highlighted the process of renewal that this communication initiative has undergone. Currently, the publication reaches more than 2,800 readers in print and is distributed digitally to members of the Salesian Family in Colombia and in various parts of the world, with the aim of continuing to grow and bring the Salesian message to new audiences.
