(ANS – São Paulo) – Between 7 and 9 June 2026, the Salesian community of Santa Teresinha, in the Santana district of São Paulo – SP, hosted the second edition of the Practical Trainees’ Meeting, an initiative aimed at supporting and strengthening the formation process of young Salesians currently undergoing this phase. Organised by the Provincial Delegate for Formation, Fr Cássio Rodrigo de Oliveira, with the support of the Rector of the Postnovitiate, Fr Alexandro Santana, the meeting offered a programme marked by moments of spirituality, fraternal sharing and in-depth formation. The presence of the BSP Provincial, Fr Alexandre Luís de Oliveira, further enriched the days and fostered dialogue and reflection. As the central formation activity, the participants explored the theme: “Pastoral charity”, under the guidance of Fr João Gabriel Galhotti Pinto. This helped to strengthen the Salesian identity of the Trainees, highlighting the importance of pastoral charity as a fundamental element of the educational and evangelising mission inherited from Don Bosco.
