(ANS – Medellín) – Last Saturday, 13 June 2026, the Salesian Pedro Justo Berrío (PJB, in Spanish) Institute hosted a reunion of Past Pupils, a day full of emotion, reunions and gratitude that brought together generations from 1977 to 2025. This event provided an opportunity for students, teachers, Salesians and staff of the PJB to reunite, sharing memories, experiences and life plans in an atmosphere marked by fraternity and the Salesian charism. The programme included a Eucharistic celebration which strengthened bonds of faith and belonging, as well as a cultural event that evoked the fondest memories of time spent in the school’s classrooms and courtyards. During this part of the programme, those present listened to moving speeches by the Rector, Fr Ricardo Villanueva Plata, a Past Pupil and a former teacher much loved by the educational community. The gathering provided an opportunity to strengthen support networks, forge new professional connections and reaffirm the impact that the PJB has had on the holistic formation of its students. Initiatives of this kind continue to position the Pedro Justo Berrío Institute as a leading institution in terms of innovation, growth and contribution to society, consolidating the legacy built up over its hundred-year history.
