(ANS – Minoyan) – From 4 to 11 June 2026, the community of the Don Bosco Formation Centre (DBFC) organised its summer camp, featuring a Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC) experience in the municipality of Barangay (Murcia, Negros Occidental), followed by a camping trip to the Vladjao Hill Resort in Barangay Umilig (Buenavista, Guimaras). The camp’s theme was Duc In Altum, meaning “Put out into the deep”. Some of the formators and all the aspirants took part in the event as part of their formation programme. During the experience, the participants immersed themselves in the life of the local community through prayer, fellowship and pastoral activities. This was followed by a camping trip during which they reflected on and processed their encounters and the teachings they had received. The summer camp was truly a significant opportunity for spiritual growth and deeper discernment. The Duc In Altum theme invited participants to trust in God and to deepen their vocational journey through service, reflection and fraternity. The camp concluded with a renewed faith, a strengthened sense of brotherhood and a greater appreciation for community life.
