(ANS – São Paulo) – On Monday 15 June 2026, the the São Paulo Brazil (BSP) Province Delegation for Formation, coordinated by Fr Cássio Rodrigo de Oliveira, held the Second Generational Meeting, aimed at Salesians with between 16 and 30 years of priestly ordination or perpetual profession. Held at at the Pius XI Institute in Alto da Lapa, São Paulo, the event brought participants together around “A culture of care: integrating health, the psyche and charism”. The opening session, led by the Superior of BSP, Fr Alexandre Luís de Oliveira, was followed by three thematic sessions: Fr João Gabriel spoke on “pastoral charity”, whilst psychologist Rosana Miranda and psychiatrist Dr Thales Pereira addressed the identification of fundamental human needs and early diagnosis and intervention in the field of mental health respectively. At the end of the meeting there was an exchange with the Provincial and an evaluation of the experience, followed by the celebration of Mass.
