(ANS – Estoril) – The ReHope mini-company, developed by Year 11 Economics students at the Salesian school in Estoril, won first prize in the entrepreneurial schools competition organised by “DNA Cascais”. The students developed a platform that connects patients with doctors and specialists from around the world. This award recognises the hard work, creativity, capacity for innovation and entrepreneurial spirit demonstrated throughout the project. The students at the Salesian school were committed to presenting an innovative solution in the healthcare sector. Not only does it establish contact between doctors and patients, but it also enables access to second medical opinions, provides patient support, and offers translation of clinical information alongside rapid and secure follow-up. This prestigious achievement demonstrates how young people are capable of identifying real needs, developing solutions with a positive impact, and transforming ideas into projects of value to society as a whole.
