(ANS – São Paulo) – On 19 June, a meeting of the Formation Sector of the São Paulo Province Brazil was held in Campos Elíseos, São Paulo, attended by the Provincial, Fr Alexandre Luís de Oliveira who opened the event with an introductory address. During the day, Fr Paulo, Rector of the Theologate, shared the guidelines from the International Meeting of Rectors and Formators of Specific Formation and reported on his recent visit to theology students in Messina, Italy. The meeting also provided an opportunity for discussion on the formation journey of the communities. As part of the Vocational Animation Service (SAV), Fr Cássio Rodrigo de Oliveira, Delegate for Formation and head of Vocational Animation, highlighted the regularity and achievements of the ‘Gospel and Life’ meetings. In the afternoon, the trainees continued with their specific tasks, whilst the formators assessed the various stages reached by those present. At the end, Fr Cássio Rodrigo de Oliveira presented the programme for the Formation Course for Formators, which will take place in July this year at the Pius XI Institute in Lapa.
