(ANS – Ethiopia) – The Salesian Vice‑Province of AET gave thanks on 20 June 2026 for the priestly ordination of Fr Josip Ivan Soldo, SDB, a Croatian missionary committed to serving the young people of Ethiopia. The ordination took place in Zagreb, Croatia, during a solemn Eucharistic celebration attended by his family, Salesian confreres, friends and members of the faithful. Having completed his theological studies at the Ratisbonne in Jerusalem, Fr Soldo has embraced his missionary vocation with generosity and zeal. His “yes” to the priesthood marks a significant blessing for the Vice‑Province, which continues to accompany and educate vulnerable youth.
