Misiones, Argentina – January 2026 – The Saltimbanqui experience took place at the Salesian Pascual Gentilini Agrotechnical Schoo in San José, Misiones from 4-9 January. This is a formation initiative of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) intended for young leaders from the Northeast Argentine region (NEA). The event is part of the #VeranoSalesiano program, a period in which Salesian Houses offer educational, pastoral and recreational activities for children, adolescents, and young people. About a hundred boys and girls from local SYM groups participated, accompanied by lay and Salesian educators. During the days of the initiative, workshops were offered on the Preventive System, socio-cultural animation, Christology and Mariology, and the “Church going forth,” among other key topics for the formation of young leaders. In addition to the formation spaces, the participants experienced intense moments of prayer, Eucharistic celebrations, games, and fraternal coexistence, in an atmosphere of joy, closeness, and belonging to the Salesian charism.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
