All the groups of the Salesian Family were present at this annual event, which marks the spiritual and pastoral orientation of the year. The meeting began with a speech by Fr Gauthier Tshibangu, SDB, Provincial Delegate of the St Joseph Delegation for East Central Africa, who invited the assembly to welcome the Strenna 2026 as an invitation to fidelity to Don Bosco’s charism and a renewed commitment to the service of young people. The theme of the Strenna was presented by Fr Mathias Amani, SDB, who explored four key verbs: look, listen, choose and act. After the presentation, young people from various Salesian realities in Goma offered the audience cultural performances rich in educational and spiritual messages. At the end, Fr Gauthier Tshibangu presided over the Eucharist, concelebrated by numerous priests.

Goma, DR Congo – January 2026 – The Salesian Family of Goma gathered on Friday 16 January at the ITIG […]

[94

post-1029249","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-central-and-west-africa
["GET
