Haiti \u2013 January 2026 \u2013 On 17 January, the 44th Salesian Family Spirituality, Haiti, was celebrated, both in person and online, on the theme of the Rector Major’s Strenna 2026, \u2018Do whatever he tells you \u2013 Believers free to serve\u2019. An intense moment of prayer, led by the Salesian Cooperators and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, opened the day coordinated by Fr Jean Robin G\u00e9d\u00e9on, SDB, Provincial Delegate for the Salesian Family, and Fr David H\u00e9rode, SDB. This was followed by presentations from Sr Rose Dominique Giraud, FMA Provincial Delegate of the Salesian Family , and the FMA Provincial, Sr Altagr\u00e2ce Mathias. Next, Fr Morachel Bonhomme, Superior of the Salesian Vice-Province of Haiti (HAI) and President of the Conference of Religious of Haiti (CHR), presented the Rector Major’s Strenna for 2026. After an in-depth study and reflection on the theme, a group work session was held, focusing on four themes: Listening; Freedom; Action and service; Inter-generational dialogue. This was followed by a sharing session in plenary assembly, where the reactions of all the branches of the Salesian Family present were listened to attentively.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
