Poland \u2013 January 2026 \u2013 This week, on 26 and 27 January, two Industrial Competence Centres were opened in the Salesian Province of Warsaw in the presence of Fr Roman Jachimowicz, Councillor for the Europe Centre and North Region. An Industrial Competence Centre is a place that brings together vocational formation institutes, higher education institutions, companies and sectoral organisations. It links formation to industry, theory to practice and traditional craftsmanship to modern technologies, enabling the development of skills in line with the needs of the labour market. The Industrial Skills Centre for Furniture in R\u00f3\u017canystok is a modern space for formation, innovation and cooperation, created to support the development of future-oriented skills in one of the key sectors of the Polish economy. The project is being implemented by the Salesians in collaboration with the National Chamber of Commerce of Furniture Manufacturers and the First Level Special Vocational School in R\u00f3\u017canystok. The second centre, the Industrial Competence Centre for the Management and Maintenance of Railway Rolling Stock in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, operates at the Salesian Craft Schools in collaboration with important partners in the railway sector, including PKP Intercity S.A. and the Association of Railway Employers. It offers courses and specialist formation in modern and professionally equipped facilities. Both initiatives represent an important step in the development of modern vocational formation, in line with the needs of the economy and industry, implemented in the Salesian spirit.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
