Morobo, South Sudan \u2013 January 2026 \u2013 The Salesians at Don Bosco Morobo in South Sudan have completed the renovation of the community house thanks to funds donated by Salesian Missions, the Salesian Mission Office in New Rochelle, United States.\u00a0The renovation has created a safe and functional space for the management of the Salesian primary school and the coordination of parish activities in 25 sub-stations. The renovation also included the complete installation of plumbing and electrical systems to ensure the safety and functionality of the house. In addition, a protective fence was built to safeguard the property from wild animals and theft. The improvements ensure the long-term sustainability and safety of the community house and its services. The renovated facility now serves as a centre for education, pastoral care, youth development and community gatherings. This donation has impacted over 1,000 children enrolled in the Don Bosco Primary School, as well as 40 teachers and more than 20,000 parishioners.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
