(ANS – Córdoba)<\/strong> – The Vicar of the Rector Major, Fr Stefano Martoglio, arrived in Córdoba on 14 February to officially begin his visit during which he will conduct consultations for the new Superior of the Argentina North Province (ARN). He was welcomed by Fr Horacio Barbieri, Provincial, together with the Vice-Provincial, Fr Carlos Romero; the Provincial Economer, Fr Roberto Camusso, and the Delegate for Youth Ministry, Salesian Brother Lucas Mautino. His arrival marks the official start of the consultation, a key process for the organic life of the Salesian Family in Northern Argentina. His itinerary will extend until 25 February, during which time he will visit several Salesian communities. The programme includes visits to the communities of Rodeo del Medio, Mendoza, Tucumán, Resistencia, Corrientes, Rosario and Córdoba. Fr Stefano Martoglio expressed his joy at visiting the province: ‘It is a blessing to be here at this important moment and also to meet and greet the Salesian Family, my confreres, and to discover the heart of Don Bosco through the works carried out by the Salesians in Argentina North.’ In addition to this fraternal meeting, Fr Martoglio’s main mission will be to lead the zone assemblies. In these dialogues he will accompany the Salesians in the process of discernment and consultation necessary for the appointment of the next Superior of the ARN Province.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
