(ANS – Esmeraldas) – <\/strong>In the province of Esmeraldas, where social, economic and gender gaps persist, limiting access to work, the CEFORMAX (María Auxiliadora Formation Centre) programme is consolidating its formation commitment with the implementation of the project ‘Promoting the Women of Esmeraldas: entrepreneurship, leadership and living without violence’. The initiative focuses on technical formation as a tool for economic autonomy and violence prevention. With over 13 years of experience, CEFORMAX has established itself as a leader in vocational formation with a humanistic and inclusive approach, generating concrete opportunities for employment, self-employment and entrepreneurship for women and young people in vulnerable situations. The programme is led by Fr Robert García, Director of the Salesian Costa Norte Foundation Project, together with Fr Enrique Lima, rector of the ‘Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional María Auxiliadora’. Both organisations promote this initiative as part of the Salesian commitment to social development and human promotion, made possible thanks to the collaboration between the Salesians of Ecuador, the Valle Foundation, AECID, ACTEC and the Salesian Costa Norte Foundation Project, with technical support from the Provincial Office of Planning and Development. For 24 months, in three strategic locations, the project will strengthen the skills of over 800 women through technical workshops in high-demand job sectors.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
