(ANS – Barcelona) –<\/strong> The second vocational retreat of the 2025-2026 academic year for Salesians in Spain took place in Barcelona from 20 to 22 February 2026. Young people from different Salesian houses participated. The eleven participants from Spain’s Mary Help of Christians Province (SMX) – consisting of seven young people in vocational discernment together with four Salesians, including those currently in discernment in the Bartolomé Blanco Live-in community in Seville – and the six from Spain’s St James the Greater Province (SSM) – three young people and three Salesian companions – shared these days of fraternity. Their reflections began with the presence of Don Bosco in Barcelona, but focused in particular on the  Tibidabo, Martí-Codolar and Can Prats communities. The days were dedicated to discerning what is truly important in life, what is necessary and what is essential. ‘Life can only be lived fully if lived in response to God’s call,’ said the National Vocational Promotion Team. The meeting, entitled ‘Heirs of Don Bosco’s history’, is part of the ‘Protagonists of history’ campaign, which aims to bring participants closer to Don Bosco’s life and his particular way of living the theological virtues.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
